In einer kleinen ghanaischen Stadt am Rande einer ins Meer mündenden Mülldeponie, kämpfen die Söhne eines Fischers, Sowah und Okai, mit dem Verlust ihres ältesten Bruders, der bei einem Angelausflug ertrunken ist. Vom Weggang des Bruders gequält, glaubt Okai, dass er immer noch dort draussen ist.

Set in a small Ghanaian town at the edge of a large landfill that spills into the ocean, the sons of a fisherman, Sowah and Okai, struggle to cope with the loss of their eldest brother who drowned during a fishing expedition. Haunted by his passing, Okai believes their brother is still out there.
